I came to therapy through a winding path -- community organizing, crisis intervention, and eventually graduate school after watching how rarely men in my community got real support. I use Emotionally Focused Therapy with couples and a strengths-based approach with individuals. I'm particularly interested in helping clients build capacity for difficult conversations: with partners, with parents, with themselves. I'm bilingual in English and Spanish and welcome clients who prefer to work in either language.
