New Clients

What to Expect

We make the first step as easy as possible.

Step 1

Your First Session

Your first appointment is a chance for us to get to know each other. Your clinician will ask about what brings you in, your history, and what you're hoping to work on — but you set the pace. There's no pressure to share more than you're ready to.

Most clients leave the first session feeling relieved they came.

Step 2

Confidentiality

Everything you share in therapy stays between you and your clinician. We are bound by professional ethics and state law to protect your privacy.

There are narrow legal exceptions — such as imminent risk of harm — and your clinician will explain these clearly before your first session. We believe you deserve to know exactly how your information is handled.

Step 3

Cancellation Policy

We ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations and no-shows are charged the full session rate, as that time is reserved exclusively for you.

Life happens — if something comes up, please reach out as early as possible and we'll do our best to find a solution.

Step 4

Telehealth Options

All of our clinicians offer secure video sessions through our HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform. Telehealth is available to clients located anywhere in New Mexico.

You'll receive a link before your session — no downloads required. In-person and telehealth sessions can be mixed and matched to fit your schedule.
